Mr. Burbaum was our haven of calm during this difficult, troubled time of corona uncertainty. Thanks for that! The house is historically old, the rooms are modern and clean. The staff is genuinely friendly and the boss also takes the time to ensure that the guest has a great stay. The breakfast gets 11 out of 10 points!

Spent a night at Burbaums on a bike tour through the northern Ruhr area: I felt really "welcome" in the beautiful half-timbered house! Good home cooking, very nice atmosphere and well-equipped rooms. Definitely book with breakfast!

We rented a room for 1 night and everything was great. Maybe not the cheapest but ok. You can eat a big breakfast without a problem.

We really only stayed overnight as we arrived late and left before breakfast. But the room was really very nice and above all clean. A note would be that the house is old and the floorboards creak a little. A small unpleasant point of criticism would only be an open square from the toilet in the entrance area of ​​the room. Fortunately, you can't see anything ... Price, despite Comic Con, unbeatable.

Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to its reputation. It started with the table where you wanted to sit us already occupied and then you had to look for an alternative for us. And that despite timely reservation. The order was also an adventure, as it was asked again for two dishes what we ordered. Incidentally, it was one and the same person the question. After the starter we got the bread served, the order does not open to me, but good. The first attempt of the main course was unfortunately a wrong dish, which we did not accept. In retrospect, I can explain why, because on the bill was also this wrong court (and that although the order was communicated twice). I found a hair on my plate, which is why I returned the food. The new plate was brought within a few minutes, where I ask myself if the newly prepared or was only newly prepared on a new plate. I would have liked to give the restaurant another chance as the food tasted really good. In retrospect, I would have liked a discount, but you did not come to this on my own when I mentioned some of these points when paying. Because of all these points, I will think twice about whether I would like to experience such an adventure again.

We celebrated our wedding in the threshing floor. We were completely satisfied with the service, the food, the communication and the hotel rooms. Our wishes were always met and everything went smoothly. The service staff in the evening were very quick, courteous and friendly. The food is warm, plentiful and very tasty. In addition, the price-performance ratio was unbeatable.
